Fuel Filters - Special Applications Dispensing Equipment Fuel Pump Filters A spin-on filter designed for either gasoline or diesel fuel (part no. 4006) was developed for use on dispensing pumps between the pump and the meter. It guarantees the delivery of clean fuel to the vehicle while also protecting the pump meter. The filter can easily be installed, inside or outside the pump. For applications involving a severe dirt situation, the longer 4347 filter can be used. Part number 4348 can be used for dirt and water removal. If the pump does not come equipped with a filter (and most pumps don’t), two filter mounting bases are available. The bases are identical except for the inlet and outlet thread sizes and either base will accept the filters listed below.
