The 4389 filter effectively removes dust, grit, dirt and other airborne contaminants while its water-removing capacity eliminates the hazard and expense of fuel-line freeze-ups in cold climates. The filter consists of a rustproof aluminum body with a removable, transparent bowl which is unaffected by either gasoline or fuel oil. All filters are pressure tested to 100 psi. The low-cost, easy-to-change replacement filter element for the water trap fuel filter is part no. 4390. The pleated paper element provides 354 sq. inches of filtering surface and is specially treated to remove water from gasoline or diesel fuel. NOTE: DO NOT use on pressure type dispensing pumps.
