2019 NAPA Reference Guide

Fuel Filters for Special Applications Dispensing Equipment When the job calls for high speed fuel dispensing, NAPA Filters has what it takes. Our high capacity filters are available in 30 GPM and 60 GPM models, which are ideal for truck stops and other commercial high speed fuel dispensing applications. Additionally, two types of filters are available – solid contaminant removal and solid contaminant removal plus water absorption. Both are offered in 10 and 30 micron ratings. Replacement elements are available with Water Sensor media to prevent the dispensing of water into vehicle fuel tanks. In fact, the filter automatically shuts off the flow of fuel after approx. 12 ounces of fuel has been removed by the special media. For most applications, the 10 micron elements are recommended, and especially for high hydrocarbons such as gasoline. For heavier distillates, such as No. 2 fuel oil or diesel, the 30 micron element provides less filtration but offers longer filtration life. Product Features Special Water Sensor media prevents passage of water through the filter and shuts off flow when necessary, preventing contaminated fuel from being dispensed. Water Sensor element contains 700 square inches of filter media; non-water sensor element contains 1700 square inches of filter media.
