Fuel/Water Separator Filter Installation Kit 4309 Adapter Base The NAPA fuel filter/water separator filter removes harmful solid contaminants and water from fuel on diesel and gasoline engines. Water can be drained through the convenient petcock on the bottom of the filter. This kit may be used to convert cartridge type filters to convenience of spin-on or can be added as a supplemental filter for increased dirt removal capacity and water removal. The kit is suitable for use on any size diesel or gasoline engine up to 400 H.P. Ideal for passenger cars and small trucks where original filter is too small or does not remove water.
